Have you ever been asked a strange interview question? Did it leave you scratching your head and wondering if you answered it correctly? Maybe you can’t figure out why they would ask such a strange question in the first place. The good news is that for most of the weird interview questions people get, there isn’t really a right or wrong answer. Most often, the interviewer just wants to see how you’ll respond.

We’ve put together a list of some of the weirdest interview questions we’ve heard of. Let us know if you’ve ever been asked anything stranger.

These were found at Glassdoor.

“What would you do if you were the one survivor of a plane crash?” – Airbnb

“Describe the color yellow to someone who is blind.” – Sprint Airlines

“If you were asked to unload a 747 full of jelly beans, what would you do?” – Bose

A couple from Business Insider to really make you think:

“How much do you charge to wash every window in Seattle?” – Facebook

“Choose a city and estimate how many piano tuners operate a business there.” – Google

And a couple more from Independent:

“What would you do if the sun died out?”

“What dinosaur would you be like?”

“Choose a toy and explain how this reflects you as a person or part of your personality.”

As you can see, strange questions are all over the place and you’re bound to run into them once or twice throughout your career. The best advice is to not freak out. Take your time with your answer, be thoughtful and don’t try too hard to get it “right.” There likely isn’t a right answer at all.
